Basil Cheese Bread

  • 2 (5 1/2 to 6-inch long) French rolls, Ranch rolls or hoagie buns, split
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
  • 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz. (1/2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves

Directions

    Heat oven to 375°.

    Place rolls, cut sides up, on a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.

    Spread margarine on rolls; top with cheese and basil.

    Bake at 375° for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
