- 2 14 tablespoons basil, chopped
- 220 ml extra virgin olive oil
Directions

1Crush the basil leaves coarsely in a mortar.

2Add few tbsps.

3of olive oil.

4Pound the basil.

5Keep adding the remaining oil gradually.

6Mix well.

7Pour into a glass bottle.

8Seal it tightly.

9Use after 2 weeks.

10Shake the bottle every 3 days for 2 weeks.

11Use in salad dressings (add a little to unflavoured oil), on pizza, pasta and tomato mozarella salad.
