- 8 cups Sweet Baby RAy's BBQ sauce or another molasses-based smoky bbq sauce
- 1/3 cup garlic powder
- 1/3 c coarsley ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup cajun seasoning
- 6-8 lbs brisket trimmed
Directions

1preheat oven to 240 degree

2combine the first 4 ingredients to make the sauce.

3Reserve 1 c of sauce.

4Place brisket in the sauce and rub vigorously.

5Transfer to sheet pan lined with parchment and cook for 18 hours or until meat is 175 degrees

6Remove and cool
-
7Slice and place in a foil pan, cover with reserved sauce and foil and freeze for 2-3 days

8Thaw in refrigerator for 2 days

9Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Uncover brisket and warm for 40 minutes
