  • 8 cups Sweet Baby RAy's BBQ sauce or another molasses-based smoky bbq sauce
  • 1/3 cup garlic powder
  • 1/3 c coarsley ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup cajun seasoning
  • 6-8 lbs brisket trimmed

    preheat oven to 240 degree
  2. 2
    combine the first 4 ingredients to make the sauce.

    Reserve 1 c of sauce.

    Place brisket in the sauce and rub vigorously.
  5. 5
    Transfer to sheet pan lined with parchment and cook for 18 hours or until meat is 175 degrees

    Remove and cool

    Slice and place in a foil pan, cover with reserved sauce and foil and freeze for 2-3 days

    Thaw in refrigerator for 2 days

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Uncover brisket and warm for 40 minutes
