  • 2 (1 lb.) Blue Lake beans
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • bacon strips
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 onion, sliced in rings

    Mix a little juice, sugar, vinegar and beans. Put onions on top, then bacon. Cook for 3 hours at 275°, covered.
