Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 c. spiral macaroni
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. celery
  • 1 (10 oz.) box mixed frozen vegetables, cooked 5 minutes and drained
  • 1 can red kidney beans (No. 303), drained
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Cook macaroni as directed and drain well.

    Put into bowl.

    Add onion, pepper, celery, beans and cooked vegetables.

    In small pan, heat sugar, flour, mustard and vinegar.

    Bring to boil and cool completely, then pour over the combined ingredients.

    Refrigerate. Keeps well in refrigerator.
