  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 can cut green beans
  • 1 can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 onion (medium to large), chopped or sliced
  • 1 green (medium to large), chopped
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Drain juice from all beans; rinse and drain.

    Chop onion and bell pepper, or slice onion if you like.

    Mix with beans.

    Mix oil, sugar and vinegar and stir until sugar dissolves.

    Pour over bean mixture and put in covered dish to marinate for 8 hours or more, stirring occasionally.
