Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (29 oz.) can Italian tomatoes
  • 2 c. chopped spinach
  • 1 can kidney beans (red)
  • 1 can white kidney beans
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. macaroni
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown meat and drain.

    Add onions, tomatoes and spinach. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients. Rinse and drain kidney beans.

    Heat to boil; cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

    Serve with Parmesan cheese.
