  • 2 cups dry lima beans
  • 2 slices OSCAR MAYER Lower Sodium Bacon Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn
  • 1/4 lb. OSCAR MAYER Selects Uncured Smoked Turkey Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
  • 4-1/2 tsp. flour
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • dash pepper

Directions

    Place beans in large saucepan.

    Add enough water to cover beans.

    Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 2-1/2 hours or until tender.

    Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp.

    Drain on paper towels, reserving drippings in skillet for later use.

    Crumble bacon.

    Add to beans along with the corn, sausage and onions; mix well.

    Simmer on medium-low heat 1 hour.

    Stir flour into reserved bacon drippings in skillet; cook on medium-low heat until hot and bubbly, stirring frequently.

    Gradually stir in water until well blended; cook on medium heat until mixture comes to boil and thickens, stirring constantly.

    Add to soup; simmer 30 min., stirring occasionally.

    Stir in pepper.
