  • 1 lb. beans, looked over, navy or Northern (larger)
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar (1 Tbsp. brown, 3 white, or half and half)
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 4 c. water
  • pieces of bacon, uncooked or salt pork
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Put everything together in slow cooker on low heat evening before you need next day.

    In morning stir up good and leave covered and resume cooking.
