  • 1 c. granola
  • 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 c. raisins or semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ, toasted
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. flaked coconut

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Place granola in a plastic bag and crush lightly with rolling pin.

    In a large bowl, combine granola, oats, almonds, raisins or chocolate pieces, flour, coconut and wheat germ.

    In another bowl, stir together the egg, honey, brown sugar, margarine and milk.

    Add to dry mixture, stirring until all ingredients are moistened.

    Spread mixture evenly in a greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan.

    Bake 36 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

    Cool pan on wire rack.

    Cut into bars.
