Beef And Onion Stew

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
- plain flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- cooked rice or noodles
Directions

1Dredge meat in flour. Brown in butter in Dutch oven. Add the onion and garlic.

2Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add broth, vinegar, tomato paste and seasonings.

3Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally.

4Serve over rice or noodles. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
