- approximately 4 1/2 or 5 lb. beef brisket
- approximately 1/2 c. or more Wish-Bone Italian dressing
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. Lipton beefy onion soup mix
- 1 small jar Green Giant mushrooms
- 2 jars Heinz homestyle brown gravy
Directions

1If you buy a packer-trimmed beef brisket, trim fat.

2Store- trimmed brisket usually doesn't need trimming.

3Marinate beef brisket with Italian dressing (enough to cover).

4Can marinate for as little as 1 hour or so or up to 3 or 4 hours or more, turning every so often in pan you are going to cook in.

5Pour 1 jar mushrooms (juice and all), beefy onion soup mix (mixed with 1/2 cup water) and brown gravy over meat.
