- 2 lb. round steak
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 medium bay leaf
- 3/4 Tbsp. salt
- 6 oz. can mushrooms, drained
- 3/4 c. Burgundy wine
- 3/4 c. water
Directions

1Cut steak in bite size cubes.

2Coat with flour; brown in butter.

3Add onion, parsley, garlic, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Stir in mushrooms, Burgundy and water.

4Heat mixture to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour or until tender.

5Serve over hot rice or noodles.

6Serves 6.
