Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 3 sticks celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. chow mein noodles

Directions

    Saute onion, celery and green pepper until tender, using the oleo.

    Fry meat slowly until slightly brown.

    Add to vegetables. Add soup, salt and pepper.

    Bake in a covered casserole at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Uncover.

    Add noodles over top of casserole.

    Bake for 10 minutes, uncovered.

    Serve hot.
