  • 3 lb. stewing beef
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom or 1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 c. sherry
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix

Directions

    Cut up beef into 1-inch cubes and brown.

    Put in large casserole dish.

    Add soup, mushrooms and sherry.

    Mix; cover and bake approximately 3 hours at 325° or 4 hours at 300°.

    Serve over rice.
