Ingredients
- 2 c. soy or teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
- 1 Tbsp. monosodium glutamate
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 3 lb. round steak (1-inch thick)
Directions

1Blend all ingredients, except beef.

2Add beer and stir.

3Cut steak across grain into 1/4-inch slices.

4Put into a tight fitting container.

5Pour marinade over meat.

6Refrigerate overnight, turning once or twice.

7Discard marinade and pat meat with paper towels to remove excess moisture; salt and pepper to taste.

8Put on skewers, meat hanging down.

9Dry in a smoker or in the oven on lowest setting with oven door cracked open so moisture can escape. Cook until desired dryness, not brittle.
