- 4 lb. round or flank steak (1-inch thick)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
Directions

1Partially freeze meat and then slice into 1/8-inch wide and 4-inch long strips.

2Combine other ingredients.

3Mix with beef strips in glass bowl.

4Cover and refrigerate 8 hours.

5Lay in single layers on a broiler pan.

6Bake at 140° to 150° for 12 to 14 hours.

7Blot with paper towel.
