- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 pkg. Durkee meat marinade mix
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

1Slice brisket 1/4-inch thick and cut in 1 1/2-inch wide and 3-inch long strips.

2Soak in mixture 15 hours.

3Place oven on warm or lowest setting.

4Put toothpick through one end of each piece and hang on oven rack.

5Let dry for about 8 hours or until all moisture is gone.

6For best results, leave oven door open about 1 1/2 inches while drying.
