- 1 large steak
- 2 tsp. canning salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. pepper
- drop of hot sauce (if desired)
Directions

1Remove all fat from meat.

2Freeze partially, then cut into 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick strips.

3Marinate overnight in quart jars.

4Lay jars in refrigerator on their sides.

5Turn occasionally.

6Remove from jars and lay strips on racks in the oven.

7Turn oven to lowest oven setting for about 10 to 12 hours.

8If oven is still too warm, leave door ajar.
