  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (4 oz. each)
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Mix beef, rice, onion and seasonings.

    Form into small balls. Cook in hot oil in skillet turning frequently until light brown on all sides, but not crusty.

    Add tomato sauce and water.

    Mix well. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
