  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Mix beef, rice, onions and seasonings.

    Form into small balls. Cook in hot oil in skillet, turning frequently, until light brown, but not crusty, on all sides.

    Add Hunt's tomato sauce and water.

    Mix well.

    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
