  • 1 lb. beef, cubed
  • 1 can broth
  • 2 c. flour (not sifted)
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening (may use oleo)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 medium potatoes

Directions

    First cook beef and broth in a covered pan.

    (Use broth as part of liquid when cooking potatoes.)

    Mix shortening with flour and salt.

    Beat egg and add it to dry mixture.

    Add enough milk to make a soft dough easy to handle (not sticky).
