- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) beef roast
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (1.25 oz.) envelope dry onion soup mix
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Put half the can of undiluted soup on a double piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap completely around roast.

2Over the soup, sprinkle half the envelope of soup mix.

3Place roast on top and cover with remaining soup, sprinkled with remaining onion soup mix.

4Wrap roast completely in foil and place in shallow pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour per pound.

5This makes a delicious roast and gravy all in one.
