- flour
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1 (10 lb.) bottom round roast
- 1 pkg. beefy onion soup
Directions

1Salt, pepper and flour roast.

2Place in bottom of roaster with oil.

3Bake at 400° until brown.

4Do not turn for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Spread onion soup mix dry on top of roast.

5Reduce heat to 250° to 300°.

6Cover; cook until tender, about 3 hours.

7Do not add water.

8Makes its own juice for gravy.
