Beef Rolls In Beer

- 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 2 Tbsp. diced onion
- 2 lb. thinly sliced round steak, cut into 8 pieces
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 cans unrefrigerated beer
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 (8 oz.) mushrooms (stems and pieces)
Directions

1In bowl, combine sausage, onion and crumbs.

2Shape into 8 cylinders.

3Salt and pepper steak.

4Place each cylinder on slice of steak.

5Roll up to enclose filling.

6Wrap each roll in bacon; secure with toothpicks.

7Brown over low heat.

8Slowly add beer and 4 or 5 beef bouillon cubes.

9Simmer 2 hours.

10Add mushrooms and juice any time.

11Thicken gravy.
