- 5 lb. hamburger
- 2 1/2 tsp. whole mustard seed
- 2 1/2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
- 3 tsp. liquid smoke
- 5 tsp. (heaping) Morton Tender Quick salt
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and refrigerate for 3 days.

2On the third day, take out and knead for 5 minutes, then return to refrigerator.

3On the morning of the fourth day, shape into 3 rolls.

4Put each roll in separate sheet of foil (shiny side against hamburger).

5Prick foil in several places with fork. Place on rack with drip pan under it and bake for 3 to 3 1/2 hours at 200°.
