Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 4 large potatoes, cut in chunks
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 large carrots, cut in chunks
  • 1 large can peas
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour (for thickening)
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Brown meat and remove grease.

    Add all ingredients, bring to a boil and let simmer until potatoes and carrots are soft.

    (The meat can be rolled in flour before it is browned.)
