  • 2 medium onions, cut up
  • 2 lb. beef, cut into chunks
  • 3 large potatoes, cut up
  • 4 to 6 carrots, thickly sliced
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 stalks celery (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.

    Stir, cover and bake in a slow oven at 275° for 5 hours.
