  • 1 lb. stew meat, browned
  • 3 ribs celery
  • 4 or 5 carrots
  • 4 or 5 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice

Directions

    Place first 5 ingredients in casserole or heavy stew pot.

    Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over casserole and bake at 200° for 4 hours, covered.
