- 6 carrots, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 qt. whole kernel corn
- 1 qt. sweet peas
- 3 large potatoes, cut up
- 1 can tomato paste
- 6 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt or to taste
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. chunk beef
Directions

1Brown the beef.

2Place all of the ingredients except the paste in a 6-quart souper pot at 400°.

3Cover and let boil about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Add meat and more water, if needed.

5Cover and boil another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomato paste and turn down; let simmer for 15 minutes.
