- 2 lbs beef stew meat
- 3 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 (14 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 12 cup quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 whole clove
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
Directions

1Place beef in slow cooker.

2Add carrots, onion, celery and tomatoes.

3Stir in tapioca, clove, bay leaves, salt and pepper.

4Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.

5Remove from slow cooker and allow to cool.

6Place in freezer bag.

7Label and freeze.

8To serve: thaw.

9Heat until hot and bubbly.

10Serve with bread.
