  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 3 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 12 cup quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1 whole clove
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper

Directions

    Place beef in slow cooker.

    Add carrots, onion, celery and tomatoes.

    Stir in tapioca, clove, bay leaves, salt and pepper.

    Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.

    Remove from slow cooker and allow to cool.

    Place in freezer bag.

    Label and freeze.

    To serve: thaw.
