  • 1 to 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 4 or 5 potatoes
  • 2 or 3 stalks celery
  • 5 or 6 carrots
  • green pepper
  • lots of onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce (large size)

Directions

    Wash stew meat and place in 9 x 12-inch cake pan.

    Slice vegetables on top of meat.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Pour tomato sauce over all.

    Seal with aluminum foil.

    Cook in 350° oven for 4 to 5 hours.
