- 2 lb. beef round or sirloin, cut in thin, narrow 2-inch slices
- 3 Tbsp. fat
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 13 oz. can mushrooms with broth
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Brown meat in fat.

2Add onions, garlic and celery.

3Cook until golden.

4Stir in flour; add remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn into a 3-quart greased casserole.

5Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

6Cover casserole for first hour.

7Serve on noodles or mashed potatoes.
