- 1 lb. stew beef
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt and pepper
- 3 Tbsp. four
- 1 c. water
- 3 to 4 c. hot cooked noodles
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Cut beef into bite size pieces.

2Flour and brown beef in hot oil a few pieces at a time.

3When all beef is browned, return beef to large Dutch oven or pan.

4Add onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

5Pour in 1 cup water.

6Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.

7To make additional gravy, make a paste of 2 tablespoons flour and water.

8Add 3/4 cup milk to paste.

9Stir and pour over beef, uncover and cook to desired consistency.

10Serve over hot noodles.
