- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- noodles or rice
Directions

1In skillet melt butter.

2Add chopped onion and cook until slightly soft.

3Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute longer.

4Add beef cubes and cook until red is gone from meat.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Add Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cube and water.

7Adjust heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.

8Meanwhile, slice mushrooms and saute in 2 tablespoons butter in another small skillet.

9Stir into meat mixture just before serving.

10Stir in sour cream.

11Heat about 5 minutes.

12Do not boil!

13Serve over noodles or rice.
