Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 lb. top round or tenderloin steak (1/2-inch thick)
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Pound flour well into the beef until steak is about 1/4-inch thick.

2Cut into 1/4-inch wide strips.

3Add beef strips to the butter heated in a heavy skillet and brown on all sides, turning frequently.

4Remove to bowl and cover to keep hot.

5Add onions and cleaned, sliced mushrooms to skillet.

6Cover and cook slowly, 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7Return meat to skillet; stir in Worcestershire sauce and sour cream.

8Cover and reheat to boiling. Season with salt and pepper.

9Serve at once with hot fluffy boiled white or wild rice.
