Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 1/2 lbs. round steak
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 4oz. can mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1 10 3/4oz. can beef broth
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 3 c. cooked noodles
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

    Cut steak into thin strips; dust with flour mixed with salt & pepper.

    In large skillet, brown meat in butter.

    Add drained mushrooms, onion & garlic; brown lightly.

    Stir in beef broth. Cover and cook for 1 hr. or until meat is tender.

    Stir occasionally.

    When meat is done, gradually stir sour cream into mixture.

    Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

    Serve over hot cooked noodles.
