Stir-Fried Broccoli

- large bunch broccoli
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 or 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/3 c. chicken broth
- salt to taste
Directions

1Cut broccoli florets off the tops of the stalks.

2Cut stalks into 1/2-inch pieces.

3Wash and drain.

4Heat large skillet.

5Add oil.

6When oil is hot, add garlic and cook for a few minutes (do not burn).

7Add broccoli and toss with wooden spoon until all pieces are coated with oil and the broccoli turns bright green. Add chicken broth and cover pan.

8Cook vegetables until crisp but tender (do not overcook).
