Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 3 c. cooked noodles

Directions

    Slice beef into thin strips and dust with flour and pepper. In large skillet, brown meat in margarine.

    Drain mushrooms and add to skillet.

    Brown onion slightly and add to skillet.

    Stir in beef broth.

    Cover and cook about 1 hour until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.

    Gradually stir in sour cream.

    Cook over low heat 5 minutes.

    Serve over noodles.
