Beef Stroganoff

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 lb. uncooked steak or good roast
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 pt. carton sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Cut meat into 1-inch cubes and brown thoroughly in margarine. Add soup mix, water and sour cream.

    Cook, covered, slowly for 25 minutes or until meat is tender.

    Stir often and add enough water along to keep moist, but not soupy.

    Serve over hot rice.
