- 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak or fillet of beef
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Slice meat in 1/2-inch strips.

2Dredge strips in flour, seasoned with salt, then set aside.

3Saute onion and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter for 5 minutes.

4Remove vegetables.

5Add 2 tablespoons more butter to skillet and add meat strips.

6Brown evenly on all sides.

7Return onion and mushrooms.

8Add garlic and blend in sour cream.

9Mix thoroughly and heat through on moderate heat.

10Serve with rice or noodles.
