- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 lb. round steak (1/4 to 1/2 inch thick)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can water
- 1 c. commercial sour cream
Directions

1Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter and remove from pan.

2Cut steak into strips approximately 2 1/2-inches long and 3/4-inch wide.

3Melt additional 2 tablespoons butter in a pan.

4Coat steak strips with flour and brown steak in butter.

5Add salt, onions and soup.

6Stir in 1/2 can of water.

7Simmer, stirring occasionally, until meat is tender, about 1 1/4 hours.

8Add sour cream; heat. Serve over noodles.
