Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. ground beef or 1 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms or 1 can (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or tomato soup
  • 1 c. sour cream

    Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat.

    Add meat and brown.

    Add flour, salt and mushrooms, cook 5 minutes.

    Add soup and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

    Before serving, stir in sour cream.

    Heat thoroughly.

    Serve over noodles or rice. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
