  • 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • garlic powder
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans Armour chili
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 6 corn tortillas, torn
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef with spices; drain and set aside.

    Skim fat off canned chili and warm remainder in saucepan with the water. Spray 2-quart casserole with Pam.

    Place small amount of warmed chili in bottom.

    Cover with 1 layer of torn tortillas.

    Top with layer of chili, then beef, then onion, then cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Cover and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
