Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tsp. garlic, bottled minced
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can fat-free chicken broth
  • 2 c. spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz. elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

    Heat oil in deep non-stick skillet with lid.

    Add onion and beef, raise heat to high; cook until brown (5 minutes).

    Add pepper as chopped.

    Stir in garlic.

    Add chicken broth, spaghetti sauce and macaroni.

    Stir until well mixed.

    Cover and bring to boil.

    Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook at moderate boil until macaroni is done (about 10 minutes for al dente).

    Serve at once with parmesan cheese.
