- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp. garlic, bottled minced
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can fat-free chicken broth
- 2 c. spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1Heat oil in deep non-stick skillet with lid.

2Add onion and beef, raise heat to high; cook until brown (5 minutes).

3Add pepper as chopped.

4Stir in garlic.

5Add chicken broth, spaghetti sauce and macaroni.

6Stir until well mixed.

7Cover and bring to boil.

8Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook at moderate boil until macaroni is done (about 10 minutes for al dente).

9Serve at once with parmesan cheese.
