Beer Bottom Chicken

- 2 - 2 1/2 lb. whole fryer chicken
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1 12 oz. can beer
- marinade of your choice
Directions

1Marinate chicken for 1 - 2 hours.

2Insert 1/2 medium onion into chicken cavity and push to top.

3Open can of beer and discard half.

4You have your way, I have mine! Set chicken onto remaining 1/2 can of beer, forming a tripod with legs and beer can.

5Grill over medium heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until you can shake hands with your chicken.

6Baste occasionally with leftover marinade.

7Let chicken cool, remove beer can and onion.

8Cut up and serve.
