  • 2 lb. chuck, cubed
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 12 oz. beer
  • bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme

    Brown chuck, onions and garlic in oil.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    To the beef, add beer, bay leaf and thyme; cook until nice and tender.

    Serve with whole peeled, boiled potatoes.
