  • 3 c. all purpose flour
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 c. pureed cooked red beets
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

    Stir dry ingredients together.

    Mix oil and beets together and add in to dry ingredients.

    Add in Large eggs and vanilla and mix well.

    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 325 degrees till toothpick in center comes out clean, about 30-35 min.

    Frost with a simple butter cream or possibly cream cheese frosting.
