- 1 c. softened butter
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
- 2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 6 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
Directions

1Mix butter, sugar, extract and milk.

2Blend in flour and mix in nuts.

3Chill dough.

4Heat oven to 400°.

5Roll dough into 1-inch balls and insert cherry half into center of ball.

6Bake 10 to 12 minutes on ungreased baking sheets until set, not brown.

7While warm, roll in confectioners sugar, cool and roll again.
