  • 1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. corn meal
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Directions

    Mix together all ingredients except tomato sauce.

    Form into about 16 balls and brown in shortening.

    Add tomato sauce with meatballs and about 1 cup of water.

    Simmer slowly 45 minutes.
